About The Role

The State Manager is responsible for driving growth at Brighte by identifying, onboarding, and managing Vendor relationships. This role plays a key part in expanding Brighte’s market presence, increasing product adoption, and delivering value to partners and customers.

In this role, you will be required to travel within the state regularly and interstate when required

What You'll Do

Identify and pursue new business opportunities and develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline to meet or exceed revenue targetsBuild and nurture long-term relationships with new and existing vendorsConduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiationsCollaborate with internal teams - Marketing, Operations and Product - to ensure successful execution management, growth and retention of vendorsMonitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needsMaintain accurate records of sales activity using CRM systemsReport on sales performance, forecasts, and growth opportunities to Head of Sales Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions


What You'll Bring

You have proven experience in business development, sales, and account management with demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targetsYou have solid experience developing and managing client relationshipsUnderstanding of sales processes, pipeline management, and negotiation techniquesYou bring strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in combination with excellent negotiation and influencing abilitiesYou are self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven with the ability to work independently and collaborativelyYou have solid commercial awareness and financial acumen and are able to identify opportunities and turn them into winning partnershipComfortable working in a fast-paced, scaling businessExperience within Sales, Finance, Solar, electrical is highly advantageous
