About the Role
Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, this is a true generalist Advisor role supporting a predominantly blue‑collar workforce. This is a full time onsite position, working closely with leaders and employees to provide HR support across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing the end to end recruitment process across the organisation sourcing various roles in various locations including onboarding of new employees
* Providing operational HR advice to line managers and supporting them with their teams
* Assisting with performance management, employee relations and grievance processes
* Managing employee variations, probation reviews and exit processes
* Assisting with industrial relations matters, awards and legislative interpretation
* Contributing to employee engagement and employer‑of‑choice initiatives
* Assisting with policy, compliance, reporting and continuous improvement activities
* Supporting change management and business improvement initiatives

About You
Culture and team fit are critical for this role. You are practical, approachable and comfortable working closely with managers and employees in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
You will ideally have:
* At least 3+ years' experience in a generalist People & Culture / HR Advisor role
* Experience supporting a blue‑collar or industrial workforce
* Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and industrial relations
* Confidence managing performance issues, grievances and employee relations matters
* Experience using HR systems (ELMO); payroll exposure is highly regarded
* A proactive mindset, friendly nature with a genuine interest in improving culture and engagement
