About the Role
This position sits at the intersection of sales and procurement, responsible for managing supplier relationships, sourcing products, and driving revenue growth across a portfolio of foodservice and wholesale customers. You'll be working in a highly dynamic environment where no two days look the same - balancing customer demand, pricing, supply, and margin optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and grow a portfolio of customers and supplier relationships
* Source and procure products aligned to customer demand and market trends
* Negotiate pricing, supply terms, and trading agreements
* Deliver against sales, margin, and volume targets
* Identify new business opportunities across foodservice and wholesale channels
* Monitor market activity, pricing trends, and competitor movements
* Conduct account reviews to drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities
* Build a strong network across distributors, suppliers, and end-users
* Prepare forecasts, sales reports, and performance insights
About You
* Experience in sales, trading, or procurement within foodservice, FMCG, or distribution
* Background in chilled, frozen, or perishable goods highly regarded
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance margin and volume
* Proven ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships
* Confident negotiator with strong communication skills
* Highly organised, analytical, and comfortable working autonomously
* Understanding of supply chain, logistics, or product handling advantageous
