Join Endeavour Foundation at the
Caloundra Resource Recovery Centre, as a Recycling Attendant. This is your chance to protect the environment, reduce waste, and support meaningful work opportunities for people with disability.
About the Role
You'll help customers recycle correctly, keep the site safe and tidy, and make sure materials are reused or disposed of responsibly. This is a physically demanding, hands-on role working in hot conditions. Flexibility is required, including weekend shifts, weekday shifts, and ad hoc relief work as needed.
What You'll Do
- Assist customers to unload and recycle materials safely
- Sort and stack items for reuse, recycling, or safe disposal
- Inspect loads and guide drivers to the right areas
- Keep the site clean, safe, and welcoming
What We're Looking For
- Passion for recycling and sustainability
- Commitment to supporting people with disability
- Flexibility for shifts (weekends and weekdays)
- Licence and reliable transport
- Physically fit and able to move/lift items
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Willing to obtain Blue Card, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and Police Check
