We're looking for a skilled IT Support Officer to join our team and help us deliver seamless IT support.
About the Role
As an IT Support Officer, you'll provide hands-on technical support to our clients on-site and remotely, ensuring their systems run efficiently and securely. You'll report directly to the Principal Consultant and play a key role in troubleshooting, maintaining, and shaping client IT environments.
Key Responsibilities
* On-site Support: Deliver technical support for hardware, software, and networks.
* Microsoft 365 Support: Assist with setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting (Office, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
* System Maintenance: Perform system checks, updates, and proactive maintenance.
* Hardware Setup: Install and configure computers, printers, networking devices, and IT equipment.
* Network Support: Assist with firewalls, switches, routers, VPNs, and general network infrastructure.
* Documentation: Maintain clear records of client setups, procedures, and support activities.
* Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues; escalate complex cases where needed.
* Security & Compliance: Support security audits and help ensure clients meet compliance requirements.
* Client Relations: Build strong relationships through clear communication and excellent service.
* RMM & Automation: Assist with developing automation scripts and maintenance tasks via RMM tools.
* General IT Support: Help with servers, VoIP, DNS, and other IT systems as needed.
Skills & Qualifications
* Diploma, Degree, or certifications in IT (or equivalent practical experience).
* 1 - 2 years' experience in a similar role within an MSP environment.
* Strong Microsoft 365 skills (Admin Centre, PowerShell, apps support).
* Basic PowerShell command knowledge required for Microsoft 365 administration and support tasks.
* Solid understanding of Windows/Mac systems, networking, and hardware.
* Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Familiarity with MSP tools like HaloPSA, Hudu, and NinjaOne is a bonus.
* Strong troubleshooting and time management skills.
* Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to quality service.
* Microsoft 365 Administrator or similar certifications highly regarded.
* Bonus: Experience with DNS management, network administration, and security monitoring.

* Perth-based, with ability to travel for regular on-site visits.
* Flexibility for occasional after-hours work if needed.
* Dedicated home office setup with reliable internet connection.
* Must have current Australian work authorisation to be eligible for this position.
