Project Coordinator
About the role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced project coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating project timelines, procurement schedules, and fabrication deadlines to ensure timely delivery of structural steel components.
Main Responsibilities:
* Coordinate project timelines, procurement schedules, and fabrication deadlines to ensure timely delivery of structural steel components.
* Liaise with architects, engineers, suppliers, and on-site teams to facilitate smooth communication across all stages of the steel project lifecycle.
* Assist with reviewing technical drawings and plans to ensure alignment with production and site installation requirements.
* Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, scope variations, delivery dockets, and progress reports.
* Monitor project budgets and track expenses related to materials, transport, and subcontractor services.
* Organise and schedule site meetings, safety briefings, and inspections in line with WHS obligations.
* Support project managers in monitoring installation progress and resolving scheduling or logistical issues on-site.
* Maintain compliance records and assist with quality assurance and control procedures relevant to steel fabrication and erection.
* Coordinate internal resources to ensure operational workflows meet production targets and customer expectations.
About You:
* Diploma or higher qualification.
* Minimum 5-year experience in project administration.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic project management software.
* A proactive attitude and willingness to be a key team contributor.
