About the Role
Full‐time position in Busselton. The role offers an opportunity to provide high‐quality, evidence‐based physiotherapy services founded on a resident‐centred holistic care philosophy. In your day‐to‐day role you will assess the physical and psycho‐social functioning of residents, work alongside them and their loved ones, identify physiotherapy goals, needs and preferences, and keep all parties informed of resident‐led, goal‐directed care planning within a multidisciplinary environment focused on reablement.
Physiotherapists understand how important good physical functioning and healthy ageing are to people's sense of well‐being. You will be responsible for ensuring high‐quality services are provided by the therapy team to meet the physical and psychosocial needs of our residents.
As a physiotherapist with Aegis, no two days will look the same. You will benefit from a diverse caseload that allows you to apply a broad range of your core skills, including but not limited to assessing, monitoring and making recommendations related to:
* Falls: prevention, trending, analysis, management, post‐fall review
* Musculoskeletal assessment and management
* Evidence‐based pain management (acute and chronic)
* Mobility
* Functional retraining and rehabilitation
* Cardiovascular and respiratory rehabilitation education
* Continence, bowel and pelvic health
* Manual tasks and transfers
* Oedema management
* Advocating for residents through choice support and risk mitigation processes
* Training and education
* Quality monitoring practices and continuous improvement

Qualifications
* Physiotherapy qualification and AHPRA registration
* Full Australian working rights and ability to pass national police clearance
* Valid driver's licence
