The Role
Toll People are currently seeking reliable and experienced Truck Drivers (HR, HC & MC) for casual and seasonal opportunities across Newcastle and the Hunter region. These roles are perfect for drivers looking for short-term or temporary work during peak periods, however some of these role can lead to ongoing assignments depending on business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Bulk or multi-drop deliveries around Newcastle, Hunter, Port Stephens and the Central Coast
- Safely restraining loads with chains or straps
- Completing all required paperwork and run sheets
- Operating pallet jacks and tail lifts when required
- Following all WHS & RMS regulations, including driving hours
- Providing excellent customer service as the face of the business
Skills & Experience
- Current HR, HC or MC Truck Licence with recent driving experience
- Experience with tautliner or flat top vehicles
- Ability to restrain loads safely and correctly
- Forklift licence (advantage but not essential)
- Solid communication skills and professional presentation
