Customer Support Technician (Crypto Startup – Onsite Only)
Location: Surry Hills | Part-time | Overnight shifts | In-office role
Join a fast‑growing crypto startup providing overnight customer support during quieter off‑peak hours. This role is perfect for someone with strong communication skills, an interest in crypto, and some experience in QA testing or troubleshooting digital products. You'll work onsite in Surry Hills alongside a small, friendly team.
About the Role
You'll support users via chat and email, assist with account and verification issues, and troubleshoot basic technical problems. You'll also help identify bugs or unusual platform behaviour and log clear tickets for the daytime engineering team.
You will:
* Respond to customers via Discord chat
* Troubleshoot login, verification, and browser issues
* Identify bugs and document steps to reproduce
* Monitor user activity overnight
* Escalate anything complex to the day team
* Work fully onsite 2–3 overnight shifts per week
What We're Looking For
* Experience in customer support or basic IT/helpdesk
* Genuine interest in cryptocurrency
* Some experience with QA testing, UAT, or defect reporting
* Strong written communication skills
* Ability to work independently overnight
* Reliable, detail‑oriented, and comfortable in a startup environment
* Must be able to work onsite in Surry Hills
