Assignment Details:
* Start Date: ASAP
* Duration: 4 to 6 weeks
* Schedule: 3 days per week
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct site assessments to identify hazards and ensure safe working conditions
* Oversee drug and alcohol testing processes in line with policy and legal requirements
* Identify, report, and manage workplace hazards and risks
* Ensure compliance with WHS policies, procedures, and safe work practices
* Report incidents, injuries, and near misses promptly and accurately
* Support the development and implementation of WHS policies and procedures
* Conduct risk assessments and assist in preparing Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS)
* Facilitate toolbox talks and safety briefings with staff
* Assist in incident investigations and recommend corrective actions
* Maintain accurate WHS records and documentation
* Provide advice and guidance to staff and management on WHS matters
* Assist with audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives
About You:
* Previous experience in a WHS Advisor or similar role
* Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and compliance requirements
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Ability to work autonomously and manage priorities effectively
* Relevant WHS qualifications
