The Sebel Quay West Suites Sydney is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Guest Service Agent to join our friendly Hotel teams on a Full Time basis.

THE HOTEL

The Sebel Quay West Suites Sydney is based in The Rocks, within walking distance from several public transport options. The Sebel is a luxury apartment hotel with a large number of residential guests as well as hotel guests. The Sebel Quay West Suites offers both corporate and leisure experiences, with hotel facilities such as pool, spa, sauna, gym and an onsite restaurant The Quartier Bistro & Bar.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for exceptional customer service to our guests, members and residents by responding to their requests promptly. This role is a true Guest Service Agent position which will see you working in our Front Office team.

In this role you will be required to utilise the hotel Opera PMS to accurately process and input all reservation types within the same working day, assist our guests with check-ins and check outs, 'surprise and delight' guests travelling for special occasions and be an outstanding welcome experience. You will respond to guest calls promptly ensuring outstanding guest service, and will ensure a positive and memorable guest experience. You will be required to maintain a high level of professionalism at all times, ensure guest confidentiality, and follow procedures and processes in regards to cashiering and service delivery. At times you may be required to valet park cars, and assist guests with luggage and belongings ensuring total customer satisfaction.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate the ability to step into a fast paced, fun filled environment. You will also be required to be available to work a 7 day rotating roster including late nights, weekends and public holidays. Previous hotel experience is ideal, however not preferred. You will ideally have knowledge of PMS systems, particularly OPERA and Micros systems. You will pride yourself on your excellent verbal and written communication skills, you will have a high standard of personal presentation, and above all else, your enthusiasm to provide our guests with an outstanding service will allow you to stand out from the rest.

**Salary**: $23.52 - $35.52 per hour
