About The Role
Join the Monash Public Library Service team delivering friendly, high-quality service across our branches. This flexible relief role requires adaptability and a strong customer focus.
Key duties
* Provide excellent customer service and assist with enquiries
* Support borrowing, returns, memberships and bookings
* Help customers with computers, printing and digital services
* Assist with programmes, collections and library presentation
About You
* Excellent customer service skills
* An understanding of the role of public libraries in the community
* Ability to be accurate and attend to detail
* Ability to troubleshoot minor IT issues at a branch level
* Available to work across locations, sometimes at short notice
Development opportunity
* Opportunity to undertake higher duties as a Senior on Duty from time to time (Band 4)
Requirements of the position
* A current and valid Victorian Drivers Licence
* Right to work in Australia
* Employee Working with Children Check
* Satisfactory National Police CheckOther pre‐employment checks may be required depending on the role requirements
