Job Description
The role involves working as an Enrolled Nurse within the Blue Mountains Mental Health Team, providing care activities to patients in accordance with nursing care plans under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
This is an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with clinicians, allied health staff, and support staff to deliver exceptional healthcare services to the community.
The successful incumbent will have the ability to communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare team members, ensuring the delivery of safe and person-centered care.
Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate patient documentation, adhering to protocols and guidelines, and contributing to a culture of safety and quality improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Current registration Division 2 (without notation) - Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Experience and demonstrated skill in mental health nursing
* Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
* Effective communication skills – written and verbal
* Ability to work a flexible roster, day, evening or night shift across all days of the week according to unit/service requirements
