Overview
The Marketing & Events Manager – Future Students is responsible for driving the recruitment of future learners within their designated faculties through the conceptualization, development, implementation and review of domestic student recruitment strategic initiatives. This role leads the delivery of the overall undergraduate and postgraduate recruitment targets for their faculty partner and requires a strong focus on planning and successful project delivery. It is responsible for delivering revenue impacting events and marketing activities that are critical to the student acquisition journey. As a part of the Future Learners Recruitment and Admissions team, the incumbent will also contribute to stakeholder relationships, consultation, and reporting. This role is internally known as the Domestic Recruitment Manager. Responsibilities
Lead and manage a student recruitment team to achieve domestic enrolment targets for assigned faculties. Develop and implement lead nurture and conversion plans aligned with university marketing and learner acquisition strategies. Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and recruitment effectiveness to inform strategy and improvements. Collaborate with admissions, marketing, and faculty teams to optimize recruitment efforts and ensure compliance. Oversee team performance, CRM interactions, and participation in recruitment events to drive student engagement. The successful candidate will be required to obtain a Working with Children check. Qualifications & Selection Criteria
Proven experience leading a student recruitment team or similar team with demonstrated ability to meet targets and develop and motivate a team. Demonstrated experience in leading the delivery of events. Understanding of the current challenges and opportunities in the postgraduate market. Base pay range: $120,827.00/yr - $137,609.00/yr (HEW 8). This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary. This position is full-time and on a fixed term basis for 14 months. It is a hybrid role with 3 days on campus and 2 days remote.
