Your next career opportunity

As the Workday Security Administrator for the University of Melbourne's Enterprise Technology Department, you'll play a crucial role in safeguarding the institution's critical ERP systems. You'll design and implement security configurations across Workday, UKG, and Dayforce platforms, ensuring robust protection of sensitive employee data.

This role offers you the chance to shape security protocols, drive innovation in access management, and contribute to the university's technological excellence in a collaborative, improvement-focused environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Security Design: Configure and manage security roles, permissions, and global system controls across ERP platforms.
* Compliance Management: Conduct regular audits and access reviews to ensure adherence to organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
* Incident Response: Monitor system activity, investigate security incidents, and coordinate with relevant departments to resolve issues promptly.
* User Education: Develop and deliver security awareness programs to promote a culture of data protection across the university.

You may be a great fit if:

You are an experienced security professional with a strong background in ERP systems, particularly Workday, possessing excellent analytical skills and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating security risks.

You may also:

* Hold a degree in IT or business information systems, or have equivalent experience.
* Demonstrate proficiency in configuring and managing Workday Security Groups and Domain Security Policies.
* Have experience with Security Configuration Migration using Workday Object Transporter (OOT).
* Possess strong knowledge of Segregation of Duties (SoD) principles and their implementation.
* Show excellent communication skills, able to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

The Enterprise Services domain team, part of Enterprise Technology, is responsible for planning and delivering a wide range of initiatives. These include IT enablement for new campus buildings and facilities, smart campus projects, IT infrastructure upgrades, and integration, identity management, and security solutions. The team also drives application and digital projects across core enterprise functions such as finance, HR, procurement, service management, space management, and other back-office capabilities.
