This sales role covers dairy, beef and sheep enterprises across Central Victoria from Ballarat to Deniliquin including St Arnaud, Maryborough, Rochester, Echuca, Bendigo, Seymour and surrounding areas.
What's the job
* Be a trusted source of information and a "go to person" for vet clinics, livestock producers & resellers.
* Deliver technical training (after you have been trained) with support from our veterinary team to sell our unique and market leading, genomic, animal health and veterinary range.
* Build the sales of key brands in line with the commercial plan.
* Innovation is encouraged and fostered within Zoetis.
* Through extension activities assist in delivering effective education and information to industry stakeholders regarding animal health and production.
* Coordinating and hosting local activities including producer facing workshops and field days.
* An element of public speaking.
* Travel around the assigned territory in person to implement key marketing programs.
* Utilise the tools available to build positive relationships and generate sales growth in each account.
* Responsible for developing new business whilst maintaining an existing client base; task orientation, proactive approach and well-developed organisational skills are highly valued.
* Strong emphasis on cultivating and nurturing relationships and delivering value for customers including a positive and professional approach to customer service is essential.
* The ideal candidate will have extensive animal health / veterinary sales experience and preferably tertiary qualifications in rural science or a related field.
