This independent practice is located in the heart of Hobart city.
This fun, independent practice, with 1 consulting room and 45 minute appointments, is looking for an experienced dispenser who enjoys customer service and sales and can get started on the job with a minimum amount of training.
**About the practice**
- The practice is an independent optometry clinic operating with 45 minute optometry consultations and is private billing (no Medicare bulk - billed appointments).
- They are about quality rather than quantity, allowing time to be spent with individual patients.
- It is a small, boutique, higher - end establishment with beautiful designer frames difficult to to find anywhere else in Hobart or Tasmania in general.
- Most of the frame range is about style, fashion and making it "pop" for the customer.
- The practice has state of the art equipment installed, not only in the optometrist's room, but also for the dispensing staff in the form of an Essilor "Visioffice" dispensing unit with exclusive lens' options and access to a large range of upmarket lens' designs.
- We offer a great work/life balance with no Sundays or public holidays and no late nights with the practice open only 10am to 1pm on Saturdays
Your role will be to assist customers select eyewear - both frames and lenses, sunglasses and accessories, plus attend to reception and phone bookings.

**About You.you will need**:
- Previous experience in optical dispensing (Cert IV helpful but not essential)
- Excellent Sales skills
- Experience in Optical repairs
- A great attitude and to be a team player
- Excellent personal presentation
- A desire to grow your career in optics and to obtain Cert IV (support is provided)
- To have a passion for dispensing and helping people get their best vision and to look great too!
- To be a fast learner and enjoy thinking outside the box
- To get satisfaction from providing great visual outcomes
