The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and forward‑thinking Trades Assistant to join our Kewdale, Western Australia service facility. This role may involve both workshop based duties and local or remote site work as required.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting tradespeople with disassembly, washing, and cleaning of motors for inspection
* Using basic mechanical measuring tools and equipment
* Supporting general fitting and assembly work
* Preparing components and machines for dispatch
* Safe operation of workshop equipment, including forklifts, overhead and gantry cranes, pressure equipment, and hydraulic presses
* Preparing and painting completed works
* Pickup and delivery of parts
* Ensuring all safe working procedures and practices are followed at all times
* Working both in a workshop environment and on client sites (local and remote)
About You
* A mechanical aptitude and genuine interest in the industrial services industry
* A strong commitment to workplace safety
* The ability to follow company policies, procedures, and training requirements
* Flexibility to travel to site when required
* A current driver's licence (Forklift licence advantageous)
* A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a trades assistant or similar role
* Australian work rights (all work visa types accepted)
