- **Key Accountabilities..**_._
- As a Room Attendants - you'll make sure the rooms/suites/apartments are always "fresh and welcoming" for all guests after a busy day at work - creating a haven for them to escape and relax in - or get a bit of last minute work done.
- You'll make sure our rooms are always at their best - we have standards - but it's down to you to make that room special and creating a memorable one for our guest.
- Help guests - you'll be happy to help if someone needs a toothbrush or directions
- Keep your supervisor updated on room service progress and alert them to any repairs needed
- Safety aware - always follow our established safety procedures - and wear protective equipment when needed
- Be organized - keep on top of supplies and amenities and always try to minimise waste
- Reunite items with owners - and log any lost and found property
- Look smart - wear your uniform and name badge with pride
- Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service
- **To succeed in this role, you will need to meet the following skills and attributes**:_
- It's physical role and you'll be on your feet most of the day, so fitness is important
- Strength - able to lift, push and pull at a moderate weight
- You might need to bend and kneel to complete some activities
- Literacy skills - reading, writing and basic communication skills
- Flexible attitudes to shifts
- you **MUST** have at least 3 days per week to work on a rotating roster starting from 9.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. Hours will vary depending on hotel occupancy
- Take pride in customer service
- Be respectful and take accountability for yourself and your work
- Possess full Australian working right
