Key Responsibilities
Role In a Nutshell
This impactful role serves as a key player in the Cloud organization at Check Point, and acts as a trusted member of the leadership team. You will oversee team of cloud security architects, cloud systems engineers, DevSecOps engineers & Cloud customer success engineers covering our customers across APAC region.
As SE Director for Cloud business, you will be responsible for:
* Recruiting, managing and developing teams of highly skilled presales Cloud consultants, engineers and architects
* Developing and executing technical engineering selling strategies and identify opportunities for process improvements
* Inspiring team's technical development and customer knowledge
* Building, maintaining & communicating on key operational metrics
* Driving product roadmap strategies for the region with product management/R&D
* Solutions development with partner eco-systems/alliances
* Building and managing technical community across channel partners & alliances
Qualifications
* 15+ of related experience in IT with at least 5+ years of building, managing and mentoring teams of high-performing technology professionals with a proven track record in cloud pre-sales consulting in APAC region
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology preferred
* Experience of collaborating with hyperscalers
* Excellent analytical skills and with an ability to communicate and gain consensus across functions on complex subjects through effective data-based storytelling.
* Proven ability to design, implement as well as optimize business processes for technical team
* Successful track record in establishing, maintaining, and managing customer and stakeholder relationships at Manager, Director, VP and C levels
