Export Operations Assistant and Warehouse Assistant
Link Logistics International Pty Ltd, an international freight forward company that provides services to the business community on a global basis has an opportunity for an individual to join our team and assist with key operational & warehouse functions
Duties
· Co-ordination of outbound cargos
· International & domestic airfreight operations
· Manage the relationships with third party providers
· Assist with warehouse requirements
· Airside driving
· Administrative tasks
· Working in a refrigerated warehouse environment
· Loading & unloading of trucks
· Warehouse housekeeping
Skills & Experience
· Experience in freight & logistics desirable
· Experience within Perishable products desirable
· Sound interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to handle problems as they arise.
· Ability to provide excellent customer service.
· Sound working knowledge in the use of personal computers and in utilising Microsoft Office software.
· Experience/familiar with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
· Knowledge of Manual Handling Procedures
Qualifications Required
Current statement of attainment – Aviation Security, Dangerous goods & international Airfreight procedures would be highly regarded.
Experienced forklift driver with current licence
Articulated forklift use advantageous
Current driver's license
Current police check
Pre-employment medical assessment required due to physical demands of the role, including lifting and freezer work.
