About the Position
Our organization is seeking a skilled Women's Health Physiotherapist to join its team. The successful candidate will possess specialist clinical knowledge in the field of Women's Health / Pelvic Health Physiotherapy.
This role involves working closely with the maternity ward, antenatal clinics, midwives and the gynaecology team to provide treatment and education on continence/pelvic floor management, antenatal and postnatal management.
The service receives referrals for pelvic floor related issues from health practitioners prenatally, as well as postnatally/after hospital stays. In this position, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care through the application of specialized Physiotherapy clinical skills in assessment, planning, implementation of treatment and management based on current evidence.
You will work collaboratively with the Physiotherapy Manager to oversee the delivery of this service in outpatients. Additionally, you will provide support to other physiotherapists, undergraduate students and the wider multi-disciplinary team.
Your responsibilities will include providing clinical expertise to complex cases, supporting staff supervision, assisting with relevant competency and in-service training in your field of clinical expertise, and contributing to departmental and organizational quality projects and/or working groups to enhance the delivery of high-quality services to our patients.
