We are seeking an experienced PMO Manager who is not afraid to roll their sleeves up to ensure the successful deliver and governances of both ne and ongoing projects Program Manager to join a large government organisation for a 12-month fixed-term contract opportunity, managing the PMO function and overseeing the design and delivery of strategic initiatives and cross functional business projects!
Role Deliverables:
Support the portfolio management office in the design, delivery and establishment of:
The portfolio management and governance framework
Project delivery artefacts, tools and templates
Establishment and operationalisation of steering committees and governance committees
Evolution of the project management lifecycle
Establishment and maintain of project and governance performance measurement / success criteria
Project management / co-ordination and support around 1 or 2 project streams
Role Requirements:
Experience working in and/or around the establishment of portfolio / project management offices.
Strong leadership experience and the ability to drive and row the PMO Function within the organisation
Working experience delivering CRM projects.
Certifications including PMBOK, Prince2, Agile etc
Strong stakeholder collaboration and communication capabilities - must be highly team-oriented and able to engage at executive level
Change management experience and understanding of change principles, including experience developing and implementing change management plans
