The AEC is seeking
Enterprise Integration Testers
to join the
Funding and Disclosure Reform Program
within the Systems and Platforms Team. These roles are focused on testing complex multi-system environments and ensuring the quality, performance, and security of integration solutions.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
* Design and execute integration test plans for APIs, data pipelines, and Azure services
* Test CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes for efficiency, reliability, and traceability
* Manage configuration of dev, test, and prod environments ensuring real-world replication
* Apply scripting and automation skills with PowerShell, ARM, Bicep, and YAML
* Implement monitoring solutions to track performance, availability, and security
* Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines including SAST and DAST
* Collaborate with developers, analysts, testers, and stakeholders to align DevOps with program goals
* Maintain documentation of test cases, results, deployment processes, and configs for auditability
* Ensure compliance with Australian Government security/privacy standards including the Commonwealth Electoral Act

Essential Criteria
* Integration testing experience across cloud and hybrid environments; ability to design and execute test plans for APIs, pipelines, Azure services; CI/CD testing and automation; advanced scripting with PowerShell, ARM, Bicep, YAML; environment management; monitoring solutions.
* Experience embedding automated testing into CI/CD pipelines; strong knowledge of SAST and DAST practices; collaborative team engagement; documentation of test artefacts; compliance with government security/privacy standards.
* Proven hands-on integration testing experience; familiarity with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Event Grid, API Management; proficiency with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
* Excellent problem-solving skills, independence in fast-paced environments, strong communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders; understanding compliance/security requirements in government or regulated sectors.
* Advanced scripting (PowerShell, IaC with ARM/Bicep/YAML); proficiency with Git/version control; experience with data validation and reconciliation; knowledge of performance and API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI); familiarity with Fortify, SailPoint, ServiceNow, AWS; Bachelors in Computer Science/IT or equivalent experience.
