In This Role, You Will
Ensure the safety of children by preparing meals to account for special dietary requirements and allergies.
Use your creativity and organisational skills to plan the menu and order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director.
Maintain high standards of food safety by ensuring all storage, handling and preparation of food and drinks is hygienic.
Work a part time roster of 12.5 hours per week (2.5 hours daily Monday to Friday), no night shifts, no split shifts and no weekend work.
About Goodstart Mossman Johnston Road
Our small 62-place centre is located on Kuku Yalanji land, nestled amidst stunning rainforests. The cool and rainy climate creates a wonderful natural environment for both children and staff. Our team includes a diverse group, from trainees to seasoned educators with up to 20 years of experience in the industry. The centre operates from 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM, providing a supportive and enriching environment for everyone involved.

You'll Need
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or experience cooking within a childcare setting.
Current Queensland Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
