Heritage Risk Management Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Heritage Compliance Adviser to lead our heritage risk assessments, manage service requests, and provide strategic input into heritage risk management and cultural heritage protection strategies.
About the Role
* Lead the program of heritage risk assessments for our capital and operational land use activities
* Manage heritage service requests and stakeholder engagement activities
* Provide strategic input into heritage risk management and cultural heritage protection strategies
* Review technical reports and provide heritage advice to project teams
* Contribute to the development of heritage risk management process, systems and templates and maintain records
Requirements
* Extensive experience in historic and Aboriginal cultural heritage management in infrastructure planning and delivery
* Experience operating within teams, mentoring and guiding others and creating a positive workplace environment
* Demonstrates the ability to collaborate with and manage multiple stakeholders
* Holds a high level of interpersonal, oral and written skills including demonstrated experience presenting technical matters to stakeholders
* Demonstrates high attention to detail, analytical ability, and capability to interpret heritage legislation as it relates to land use activities
* Hold a Bachelor Degree in Archaeology, Cultural Heritage Management, Anthropology, or related field
