We are looking to hire an experienced NDT technician to conduct rigorous NDT tests in accordance with approved data – mainly on Aircraft, Propellers and Wheels. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up testing equipment, conducting material tests, interpreting and reporting results.To be successful as an NDT technician, you should have extensive experience with NTD technologies, strong attention to detail, and meticulous reporting skills. Ultimately, a top-notch NDT technician provides reliable and detailed information about structural stability leading to improved quality and safety.NDT Technician Responsibilities:· Conducting rigorous tests on aircraft structures and materials using non-destructive techniques.· Identifying material defects.· Interpreting test results.· Completing test reports, and presenting findings.· Traveling to clients’ locations.NDT Technician Requirements:· Level II certified for Eddy Current and Ultrasonic testing· 3+ years’ experience as an NDT technician.· Strong attention to detail.· Excellent report-writing skills.· Good communication skills.· AINDT certifying body or equivalent international standard (NAS410 or ISO 9712)· Ideally have Aerospace experience but not essentialVISA Sponsorship Available.Non-Aerospace applicants welcome to apply to be assessed on experience.
