About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in our region's communities by taking on the role of Carpenter (Based at Wadeye, Northern Territory).
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain, repair and improve Council's building and infrastructure assets within the West Daly Region.
* Undertake internal and external repairs and renovations to all Council owned buildings.
* Monitor and manage performance of Trades Assistant.
* Assign tasks and ensure effective workload management of Trades Assistant.
The ideal candidate will have trade qualification in carpentry, joinery or relevant work-related experience. Additionally, they should possess good communication and interpersonal skills, as well as demonstrated experience working with a culturally diverse range of people.
