Job Title: Senior Associate Quantity Surveyor/Estimator
We are seeking a specialist to lead strategic estimating initiatives and engage with clients across high voltage transmission/substations, renewables, or building services MEP projects.
* Direct the end-to-end estimating process on multiple projects, overseeing the production of quantity surveying/estimating deliverables.
* Produce technical reports independently with minimal guidance.
* Manage concurrent project workflows, delivering quality results within established timelines.
* Develop and implement project execution plans, ensuring compliance and verification of procedures.
* Identify potential financial risks through proactive planning, mitigating threats to project success.
* Forecast costs, timelines, quality parameters, and constructability factors to inform project decisions.
* Participate in value management and risk workshops as a subject matter expert.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, develop, deliver, and operate multidisciplinary projects.
* Mentor junior QS/estimators, promoting skills development and knowledge sharing.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Australian citizenship is preferred; applicants should be based in Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, or Perth.
* Ideally hold a tertiary degree in engineering, quantity surveying, or project management.
* Possess experience in quantity surveying or first-principles estimating, with a passion for delivering high-quality estimates.
