We are looking for a full time Maintenance Fitter to join us in our Site located in our MRF plant facility, where you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse and inclusive team of people. Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 5am - 1pm, with occasional weekend work and call outs when needed.
About the role:
* Preventative Maintenance of plant machinery
* Assist in the day-to-day efficient running of Plant Equipment.
* Diagnostics and fault finding.
* Adhere to OHS guidelines at all times
* Identify potential problems or efficiency improvements to a process.
* Communicate and report to internal management
About you:
* Previous experience in maintenance fitting in waste management, recycling, or MRF operations is preferred but not mandatory.
* Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade is desirable but not mandatory
* You think about safety first
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Knowledge of safety protocols and environmental regulations
* Good understanding of MRF equipment and ability to troubleshoot
* Hold a current Forklift Licence and EWP Ticket
