The Opportunity Due to sustained growth, our client is seeking a Civil Engineering Lead to take on a pivotal role within their Hobart-based team. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee civil engineering design and delivery for residential and commercial projects.
- Provide technical direction and ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and best practices.
- Mentor and develop a team of engineers and technical staff, encouraging a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Liaise with clients, councils, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver trusted advice and build strong relationships.
- Contribute to business growth through continuous improvement, process refinement, and identification of new opportunities.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering.
- CPEng status (or eligibility) with Engineers Australia.
- Proven experience in delivering civil engineering solutions across residential subdivisions and commercial developments.
- Strong understanding of subdivision design, stormwater, earthworks, and infrastructure servicing.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to mentor and unite a team through growth and change.
- Excellent interpersonal and client-facing communication skills, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
