The Assistant is primarily responsible for providing records management and clerical support in accordance with the Clayton Utz Risk Management Policy.**Key responsibilities** This role will see you :* Register, retrieve and archive files in our records management system* Liaise with internal stakeholders regarding collections* Organise retrieval with our off site providers* Undertake general records management duties including manual handling of archive boxes.* Collaborate with the national team to ensure data governance & destruction practices are being adhered to.* Assist legal secretaries with ensuring their archiving remains up to date* Accurate data entry and general database management* Work on ad-hoc records projects* Assisting in providing records management advice and support to staff**Skills & Experience**As the successful candidate you will have:* Some exposure to records management, or administration working in a professional service/law firm environment (preferable)* Proven past experience working independently with the ability to generate your own work and be proactive* Proficiency in Microsoft Office essential (and working with records management systems would be highly advantageous)* A high level of professionalism and attention to detail* Experience working in project teams will be seen as an advantage.* The physical ability to lift up our archive boxes**The Records Management team**Our Records Management Team is responsible for the management of legal and shared services physical files and safe custody items.
