Your Opportunity
The Way Back Program is a non-clinical support service focused on providing rapid practical psychosocial support to people experiencing a suicidal crisis or who have attempted suicide.
We're looking for passionate and driven people to join this valuable service designed to reach and support communities across the Far West. We are keen to talk with people who have an interest in the below positions:
* Peer Worker – work alongside a dedicated team to support people experiencing suicidal crisis and/or distress. Drawing on your own journey, you will offer understanding, empathy, and practical strategies to help clients overcome barriers to accessing support, connect with community resources, and build independence in daily life.
* Care Coordinator – work within a recovery framework in collaboration with Peer workers and other relevant services to support people to build independence in their daily life and support clients to achieve recovery goals, including referral assessments, safety planning, and care planning.
