Mechanical Fitter Job Description
Are you a skilled Mechanical Fitter looking for a challenging role that will allow you to utilize your trade skills and experience? We have an exciting opportunity available for a Mechanical Fitter to join our team in Port Hedland and Karratha.
We are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to provide support to the business using specialized machinery, tools, and engineering techniques to maintain and repair mechanical plant and equipment on site.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintenance and repair of mechanical plant and equipment
* Utilization of specialized machinery, tools, and engineering techniques
* Collaboration with project teams to ensure effective solutions
Requirements:
* Australian recognized Trade Certificate in Mechanical Fitting or related field
* Experience in fitting and assembling fabricated metal parts into products
* Knowledge of machining tools, production machines, and metal cutting machinery
* Ability to read and interpret technical information such as drawings, blueprints, and isometrics
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
