Event Coordinator Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced Event Coordinator to join our team for a temporary role. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating logistics and managing teams to ensure successful event execution.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in event management, a full driver's license, and the confidence to drive vans. Valid RSA and experience in managing teams are also favourable skills.
The Event Coordinator will be responsible for:
* Logistics Coordination: Drive a delivery van to manage set transportation to and from site locations, pack the vehicle with set items and giveaways, and facilitate set up and pack down of set items on site.
* Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of up to five brand ambassadors, delegate tasks, provide clear instructions, and ensure effective communication to achieve event objectives.
* Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during the execution of events, and coordinate with relevant authorities, security personnel, and emergency services if necessary.
Evaluation and Reporting: Keep an accurate count of stock/KPIs, take photos throughout the event to send to Campus Group, and conduct post-event surveys daily to assess the success of the event, report on KPIs, and identify areas for improvement.
To be successful in this role, you must have excellent organizational and communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be able to adapt to changing situations.
