About The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for contributing to the development of customer and segment plans, identifying new opportunities for value added products and services through account plan management and to manage and maintain existing customers; identify opportunities for increasing sales to the existing customer base and analyse trends and future market needs
Some Tasks As Part Of This Role Include
Undertake sales activities within segment/region to achieve budgeted targets and take corrective action as requiredConversion of market leads on building approvals into profitable sales to KnaufMonitor selling expenses and pricing to ensure profitability targets are achievedManage and maintain existing customers; identify opportunities for increasing sales to the existing customer baseProactively seek opportunities to develop expertise and capability through personal development training, technical training and project experienceMaintain knowledge of competitor activity and product and report market trends and changes to direct managerResolve complaints in a timely manner and institute changes to reduce or eliminate reoccurrence
