Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on fixed plant machinery, including:
* Crushers
* Conveyors
* Screens
* Pumps
* Mills
* Gearboxes and drive systems
* Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out repairs to minimise downtime.
* Conduct inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and component replacements.
* Install, align, and commission new fixed plant equipment.
* Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
* Use precision tools such as micrometers, dial indicators, and torque wrenches.
* Complete maintenance records and update CMMS systems accurately.
* Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve plant reliability.
* Follow all site safety procedures, including isolation, permits, and risk assessments.
Skills & Experience Required
* Trade qualification as a Fitter, Mechanical Fitter, or equivalent (internationally recognised).
* Minimum 3–5 years' experience working on fixed plant equipment in mining, quarrying, or heavy industry.
* Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
* Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
* Experience in high‐risk or heavy industrial environments is highly regarded.
* Good communication skills and the ability to follow technical instructions.

* Willingness to relocate and work in Australia (or relevant country).
* Ability to pass:

* English language proficiency suitable for safety‐critical environments.
