We're looking for a highly organised and proactive Distribution Administrator to join our Bassendean Distribution Centre. This is a critical role that sits at the heart of our WA operation, helping ensure inventory, dispatch, administration, and warehouse processes run smoothly and efficiently every day.
What You'll Be Doing
Reporting to the Distribution Manager, you'll play an important role in supporting the day‐to‐day operation of our warehouse and distribution network by:
* Coordinating inventory movements, stock control, and dispatch activities
* Managing inbound and outbound documentation and maintaining accurate records
* Monitoring stock levels and reporting low stock items
* Supporting inventory accuracy through stocktakes, cycle counts, and variance investigations
* Booking freight and coordinating outbound deliveries
* Ensuring products are invoiced accurately and efficiently
* Assisting with warehouse administration and reporting requirements
* Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers
* Supporting compliance with safety, Chain of Responsibility, and operational procedures
* Identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working
This role works closely with both warehouse and operational teams and plays a key part in maintaining service levels for our customers across WA.
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone who is organised, detail‐oriented, and enjoys working collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders.
You'll ideally have:
* Previous experience in administration within a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
* Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and experience using business systems such as Dynamics 365 or Warehouse Management Systems
* Strong planning, organisation, and time‐management skills
* A proactive approach to problem‐solving and continuous improvement
* The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy operational environment
Experience or knowledge in any of the following would be highly regarded:
* Warehouse or distribution operations
* Inventory control and stock management
* Power BI reporting
* Dangerous Goods requirements
* Battery industry experience
* First Aid certification
