As an auxiliary firefighter with a local fire service, you will be part of a team that responds to fires and other emergency incidents. Your main responsibility is to promote community safety and preparedness by contributing to educational activities.

* Promote community safety and preparedness
* Develop your skills through regular drills and training courses
* Maintain the required attendance standards for emergencies and training
* Operate specialist firefighting equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Key Requirements:
* A written consent from your employer to attend emergencies (if applicable)
* Reside or work close to an auxiliary fire station
* Australian permanent resident status
* Manual C Class driver's license
