About the role:
We're on the hunt for an experienced and passionate Producer to support the on-air and off-air success of the Carrie & Tommy show. Every day of the week for the drive home, Carrie Bickmore & Tommy Little put out the biggest and best drive show in the country, with the biggest ideas, the best prizes, and the most fun. Premium talent, premium ideas, and premium effort make this show what it is. If you thrive creatively in the live show environment and have experience working with top-tier talent, we want to hear from you.
What you'll be doing:
* Collaborate closely with the production team & premium talent to ideate, develop, and execute compelling content for both on-air and digital platforms, ensuring audience engagement and retention.
* Contribute to the creative process by assisting in the conceptualization and planning of segments and interviews, aiming for innovative and impactful content delivery.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for our audience, offering first-class assistance by fielding calls, preparing listeners for their on-air appearances, and ensuring seamless interactions.
* Proactively scout and coordinate with potential guests, orchestrating interview schedules and managing all logistical arrangements to guarantee a smooth and successful guest appearance.
* Stay attuned to listener reactions and feedback, actively engaging with our audience across various social media platforms and integrating their input into our show planning and content development.
* Expertly project manage live events, commercial executions, out-of-the-studio content creation, and other out-of-the-box ideas and content.
Experience we're looking for:
* Experience creating relevant and on-brand content within a metropolitan radio market.
* A genuine passion for content and a thirst to create innovative and industry-leading content.
* Self-motivated with excellent team working skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with SCA's target audiences, as well as premium talent.
* The ability and interest to adapt to new industry technology and best practices in audio.
* Experience demonstrating active problem solving and the ability to think on your feet.
* An understanding of legal compliance issues regarding contests, including the assessment of risk around legal and PR outcomes.
