You will be part of a dynamic team passionate about delivering top-quality food ensuring flavour, innovation and taste are the backbones of every creation. You must have prior experience in a high-volume kitchen and able to work well in a team.
About the Role
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
fast and efficient breakfast and lunch service, ensuring plating is consistent and to the high standard that Benesse sets
assist in planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, ordering food supplies and overseeing deliveries
preparing and cooking food - monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
discussing food preparation or service issues with Managers, kitchen and Front of House staff
demonstrating techniques and advise on cooking procedures
maintain a clean, hygienic and organised work environment
takes a proactive approach to ensuring kitchen runs smoothly and all daily and weekly tasks are completed
enforce and be able to explain hygiene regulations including recording of temperatures, times and food storage conditions
assist in recruitment including selection and training of new staff
About You
Successful candidates will need:
Minimum qualification of Certificate 3, 4 or Diploma in Commercial Cookery/Kitchen Management or equivalent
A minimum of 2 years experience in a high-volume venue of similar style
Food Handlers Certificate
Must be able to work well in a team and communicate effectively
Able to work well under pressure and stay calm in fast-paced work environment

This is a FULL TIME position with a salary of $76, 515 per year + superannuation at our BUSSELTON venue.
