About the Role
As an Environmental Service Worker, your primary responsibility will be maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in our aged care facility. Training is available in kitchen and laundry tasks to help you expand your skills.
* Primary Focus: Cleaning to ensure hygiene and safety throughout the facility
* Training Available: Kitchen and laundry training for suitable candidates
* Flexible Work: Shifts available Monday to Friday, 30–75 hours per fortnight
Key Responsibilities
* Perform cleaning duties to maintain hygiene and safety standards
* Assist with laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and linen distribution
* Support kitchen operations, including meal prep and maintaining dining area cleanliness
What We're Looking For
* A strong work ethic and attention to detail
* Ability to work well in a team and adhere to hygiene procedures
* Good communication skills and a positive attitude
* Physical stamina for manual tasks like lifting and standing for long periods
Requirements
Desirable:
* Certificate II in Cleaning Operations or Kitchen Operations
* Previous relevant experience, preferably in a multidisciplinary team environment
* Experience in aged care industry
Essential:
* Current National Police Check or NDIS Worker Screening Check, or the ability to obtain one
