About the roleMater Private Hospital Rockhampton has an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Facilitator to join our team in a permanent part-time capacity, of 24 hours per week.Based at our Rockhampton location, you will provide direct and indirect support and supervision to clinicians to promote and facilitate positive clinical outcomes and High Value Healthcare.
You will plan, deliver and evaluate clinical education to meet current and emergent Mater staff learning needs and support staff to work at top of scope.Plan, deliver and evaluate clinical education to address learning needs, build capability and support staff to work at full scopeSupport professional development and performance improvement processesObserve, assess and provide feedback on staff performanceUse simulation and varied education methods to strengthen critical thinking, reasoning and problem-solving in practiceDrive innovation and continuous improvement in education and clinical practiceEmbrace and support staff through change processesEngage in educational research and quality improvement activitiesPromote a culture of learning and empowermentIdentify evidence-based improvements for high-quality carePromote staff satisfaction and improve clinical outcomes through professional developmentCommunicate effectively and contribute positively to the workplaceAbout youCurrent and unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and Registered MidwifePostgraduate qualifications in relevant specialty or working towards themMinimum of three years clinical experienceKnowledge of education and training in Australian healthcare organisationsProficiency in Microsoft 365 and ability to learn relevant computer applicationsStrong time management, analytical problem-solving skills, and organisational skillsAbility to work with diverse groups, including volunteers and community organisationsCertificate IV in Training and Assessment (current)Demonstrated experience in clinical facilitation and/or clinical supervisionDemonstrated experience in the development, implementation and evaluation of clinical educationMater is Queensland's largest not-for-profit healthcare provider, delivering exceptional care to nearly 700,000 patients each year across 11 (soon to be 12) hospitals.
