This role will be based in our Melbourne office.
**What will be my responsibilities?**
The Quality Manager will report directly to the Project Manager and will be responsible for setting up and implementing arrangements processes and policies during all phases of the project enable the quality targets defined in the contract to be attained.
The tasks and responsibilities of the Quality Manager will be:
- To define the quality procedures applicable to the Project, enabling the Contract objectives and requirements to be met
- To prepare the Project Quality Plan and to participate in the preparation of the various project plans, and ensure overall consistency with the contract objectives
- To participate in the evaluation /qualification of the direct suppliers/sub-contractors and validate their Quality Plans
- To manage all documentation deliverables
**What do I need to qualify for this job?**
- More than 5 years of working experience in relevant roles for large infrastructure projects
- International standards and local regulations that apply
- Experience in working on Victorian projects and in depth knowledge of all standards applicable in the state of Victoria
- University Degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields
- Be a team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to foster a positive work environment
- Be self-dependent with a high level of initiative, impact and result-orientation
- Possess excellent written, verbal and communication skills in English
**What else do I need to know?**
The below qualifications will be considered as an asset:
- International project experience and experience in other tunnel projects in Australia
- Experience in S/W quality management
- Knowledge and experience in Agile methodologies
