We are looking for an immediate, full-time, permanent position in APAC at Sydney, Australia.
**Job Purpose**:
- To provide Facilities Management (FM) services across multiple industrial properties within various states / territories.
- Overall management of all matters relating to FM operations, risk, and compliance.
- Overall responsibility and accountability for the FM team and contractors regarding their delivery of service.
- Implement and utilise the company's FM platform to engage FM contractors, technicians, and site operational teams.
- Establish and implement Planned Scheduled Maintenance Program using the company FM platform.
- Monitor and manage FM contractor works and activities, to ensure all works are satisfactorily and safely completed so as to minimise disruption to occupants and operators.
- Lead the procurement of property specific services and contracts for sites under FM management, in accordance with company procurement guidelines.
- Point of call for site-specific technical and maintenance advice, supporting on site operational, safety, asset protection.
- Foster environmentally friendly practices and behaviours to support our sustainability strategy.
- Forecast and manage operating and capital equipment lifecycle planning and budgets.
- Liaise with operational team to ensure that planned maintenance can be carried out based on current operational activities.
- Support Corporate Real Estate team's portfolio asset lifecycle planning.
- Project management of minor projects as required.
- Working with a passionate and supportive leadership team, time will be spent building relationships and creating engagement.
- Work collaboratively with all stakeholders enabling professional and timely communication.
- Will add direct support staff as required.
- Implement and manage the DHL Facilities Management strategy and program progressively up to 17 sites and 65,000 m2 in Australia across 4 states and territories.
- Some travel required.

**Your tasks**:
- Provide facilities management (FM) services and support to specific business area(s) of medium scale/ complexity e.g. a cluster of properties or cross-business. Ensure FM CRE service delivery, process improvement, change implementation ensuring positive business impact of CRE within own area / cluster of properties.
- Build relationships and create engagement within the company, landlords and with vendors/contractors.
- Implementation and ongoing management of FM services and processes to ensure:
- Safe and suitable working environment is maintained for employees and their activities.
- Properties meet environmental, health and safety requirements.
- Company and landlords meet own obligations under lease agreements.
- Management of any landlord relationships, third suppliers and contractors
- Management of budgets and forecasting of planned capital works
- Compliance to local, state, and federal HSE (Health Safety and Environmental) requirements and regulations.
- Areas of assets and FM services have appropriate standard operating procedures, preventative and reactive maintenance procedures in place and managed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Management and accountability for the financial performance for sites under FM management.
- Capital works and preventative maintenance planning is forecasted, budgeted and managed.
- The team have systems and regular reporting in place to plan and manage operational and capital costs.
