Job Role:
Be part of a team working collaboratively across the organisation, providing critical legal advice and guidance for sensitive and complex legal matters. This role involves providing advice on a range of general commercial contracts, specifically to the procurement team.
This is a 14 month temporary opportunity to contribute to the operations of Transport for NSW and other agencies in the transport portfolio.
About the Opportunity:
You will be responsible for drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts with a solid background in this area. You should be familiar with the NSW Government's goods and services procurement framework and consistently model the highest standards of integrity and professional conduct.
Requirements:
Commercial lawyer with strong written and verbal communication skills, able to explain complex legal concepts clearly and concisely. A tertiary qualification in law and a current NSW practising certificate are essential. At least 2–3 years of post-qualification experience is required.
