The Beaten Track Brewery, a well-known craft brewery and restaurant in Kalgoorlie, is seeking a skilled and motivated Cook / Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. Responsibilities
* Prepare, cook, and present menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards
* Ensure food preparation and cooking meat quality and presentation expectations
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment
* Assist with food preparation, portion control, and stock rotation
* Monitor food supplies and assist with ordering where required
* Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
* Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
* Assist in maintaining consistency in food quality during busy service periods
Qualifications & experience
* Minimum Certificate IV level qualification in Commercial Cookery or a related field
* At least one year of relevant work experience as a cook or chef
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
* Good organisational and time management skills
* Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
* Ability to work as part of a team
