About the role
We are offering This great opportunity for motivated, committed, and reliable people who want to gain practical and theoretical on-the-job experience whilst receiving extensive training in Mobile Plant Technology/ Forklift Technology. This role also involves the following but is not limited to:
* Full one-on-one mentoring and support from our qualified mechanics
* Tafe attendance for practical and theory learning
* Service and Repair of Forklifts and associated equipment
* Diagnosis and repair of mechanical and electrical systems such as engines, transmissions, control boards, etc.
What you'll need to succeed
* A strong desire to become qualified in Mobile Plant Technology
* A genuine interest in mechanical equipment
* Ability to undertake manual physical work
* Punctual, reliable, and energetic
* Commitment and determination to complete a 4-year apprenticeship
* Completed at least Year 12
* Driver's license
