Position Overview Division: Mental Health Unit: Acute Team Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (No shift work or on-call requirements) Salary Range: $87,416 – $110,497 per annum applicable entitlements Commencement: ASAP Key Responsibilities Deliver safe, evidence-based, and recovery-oriented mental health nursing care Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and mentorship to student nurses, enrolled nurses, and less experienced registered nurses Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to support consumers experiencing acute mental health needs Ensure compliance with the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, and service development Essential Selection Criteria Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse or Midwife with a valid practising certificate Minimum of three years full-time equivalent post-registration clinical experience Demonstrated competency and experience in mental health nursing practice Currently enrolled in an approved mental health qualification or holding a recognised mental health nursing qualification Proven ability to deliver safe, high-quality clinical care Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills International applicants with relevant experience and current AHPRA registration are encouraged to apply.
