The Lane Group is a well-established, multi-franchise dealership proudly serving Mandurah and its surroundings. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Parts Interpreter to join our high-performing team.
In this role, you will manage one of our Parts counters while providing vital support to both the Service and Sales Departments. You will play a key role in ensuring the accurate, efficient and timely supply of parts to our technicians and valued customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email and over-the-counter enquiries
* Accurately identify and supply automotive parts using electronic catalogues and DMS
* Prepare, process and manage quotes, orders, invoices and warranty claims
* Source, order and receive parts, ensuring timely delivery to the workshop and retail clients
* Maintain accurate stock levels through effective inventory control and stock management
* Liaise with the Service Department to ensure technicians have the correct parts on time
* Maintain clean, organised parts displays and a tidy workspace
* Support showroom merchandising and promotional displays
* Assist with stocktakes and compliance with manufacturer requirements
* Provide technical advice on parts and accessories when required
What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience in a Parts Interpreter role (preferably within a dealership or trade environment)
* Knowledge of automotive systems and genuine vs aftermarket parts
* Strong customer service focus and ability to build rapport with technicians and trade clients
* High level of computer literacy, with confidence using DMS systems, electronic catalogues and Microsoft Office
* Experience with Titan DMS or similar systems highly regarded
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
